Jane Meyer was born and raised in the Richmond area. She attended Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) where she earned an Accounting degree. During her time at VT, she volunteered for a local animal shelter and gained experience pet sitting for friends and family. Jane has been a pet owner and lover her whole life, and is currently the proud mother of her cat, Zazu. After graduating in 2009, Jane decided not to pursue her field of study, but instead to start The Pet Company. Jane has now been professionally pet sitting for over 2 years and has served over 150 households in the Richmond area.  Jane loves her job, and she loves your pets!
